The door can only safely be removed when the appliance has cooled down.You can clean with a damp cloth and mild dish soap.
First, remove the door for cleaning. Open the door with left hand only, to an angle of 45 degrees, grab left hand side of door and pull gently to the right. Lastly, allow the door to air dry completely before reinstalling, otherwise the glass may experience clouding.
